ok i've been wanting to post this entry for a rather long time, but due to certain reasons the post never materialised, so i shall finally do it now (:
i think you all know i was in OM (odyssey of the mind) and through this competition i guess i learnt many things.
up until the day of competition, we were extremely unprepared.
i think we were the most unprepared group - this is not an exaggeration.
so we were rather apprehensive and everything but we really wanted to win something for all the efforts we put in.
because unprepared as we were, for the past two weeks or so we really tried our best to correct that "unpreparedness".
we cancelled all our tuitions, skipped our CCAs and all that stuff.

up until the competition day itself, we were still fixing our props and stuff.
at the competition venue, i think we were the only group there, all of us trying to fix and complete the props.
we were all nervous (except me and i don't know why)
but we prayed a lot because my group was all christians except for two so i guess God blessed me with that (:
so we all felt we didn't do too badly for the performance and we didn't (:
we actually won first runner-up despite being so unprepared.
so from this i have learnt that God can work miracles.
prayer really works because we were just constantly praying.
i'm really glad that i had the chance to enter this competition because God just really thought me something through this.

i'm really sure that if God had not been with us, we wouldn't have won second.
it's really a miracle that we won something at all, because we really were so unprepared.
God's miracles are just so awesome :D
don't you think so too?
