before i start, i want to laugh at nichola. haha. i thought it was rather amusing when she kindly told us that we have to highlight her post to read it. haha. ;)

today i had a thought during sermon. i thought i'll share it with you, maybe it'll just make you go: "O YAR!" maybe it'll encourage you. haha. whatever it is, take a read.(:

Psalm 127

Unless the LORD builds the house,
its builders labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city,
the watchmen stand guard in vain.

for he grants sleep to [a] those he loves.

you know this part of the bible really spoke to me, cos ive realised that although we may be given the talent to do great things, and we may slog really hard to acheive big things. you see it's not wrong, but without God in the picture, everything will be in vain. i'm sure we all say amen to that. and like what dave said before, the things we work for in this life will give us a good job for the next fifty years, but seeing our friends saved gives us an eternity of joy to see them in heaven with us. so always open your eyes to look out for opportunities the Lord places in your life for you to reach out to your friends, or just to be a living testimony. yeh. a light on a hill cannot be hidden, let your light so shine before men!
